Let me introduce myself. My name is Stefano L. Oriola, I'm a technical translator and writer with over seventeen years' experience in translating highly technical documents from English and Spanish into Italian and Spanish. I am a member of ATA (American Translators Association) and belong to both Italian and Spanish Language Divisions (ILD & SLD). Among my clients are multinational corporations such as Siemens, Italtel, Cisco Systems, Alenia Sistemi (Marconi Group), Sainco Tráfico (Grupo Abengoa), and GM; dynamic software houses such as Wordcraft International; and highly technological factory automation firms such as Jupiter. Some final clients are: Mori Seiki, TetraPak and TetraRex, Nissan, Toyota, Seat, Fiat, Mitsubishi, Apple, HP, Fagor, Spiro Machines, Windy Boats and so on. From the very beginning, I specialized in telecom and automotive technical manuals as well as software localization. To handle the increasing workload and guarantee the best consistency ever, I've been using CAT tools since 1994. I chose to rely on Trados and IBM TM and my clients are pleased with it, as they know the importance and benefits of this value-added capital equipment investment. I am a native Italian speaker (Milan, 31-05-60), with excellent verbal and written control of both languages and a deep understanding of cultural aspects associated with source and target languages. My standard of education is M.A. in literary and translation studies. I have been living in Spain since August 1992, with my Italian wife and a wise cat named Kevin. Please pay a visit to Barcelona, the town I live in, and to Milan, my home town, and take a look at their beauty and facilities! The graphics are protected with Digimarc Watermark Graphics
